The hunt for October

So the Twins are now out of the playoffs. (Boo, Yankees.) But John is still in baseball mode. Here are some photos of him in a baseball outfit given to him by some family friends, the Traugers, who live on the same street as Grandma Bonnie and Grandpa Jeff.

Mr. Funny Pants

John recently discovered the purpose of pants. Apparently their sole purpose on this earth is to make him giggle.

Halloween outfits

October is here, and so are the Halloween outfits. I can't possibly explain to you how cute John is in this spooky attire; you just have to see for yourself.........

The jumper

John is really enjoying the jungle-themed jumper we borrowed from his friend Elise. It is much bouncier than his own jumper, so it gives his legs a very good workout :). Look at that smile!

John's bad hair day

John has a lot of hair, as we all know. Some days his hair looks especially.... plentiful, shall we say, and this was definitely one of those days. (I think he had just woken up, too, which means he still had "bed head.") Doesn't he look excited in these pictures?

John and the tuxedo

Here are some videos of John trying on his tuxedo a little more than a week before his Aunt Katharine's wedding......he wasn't too fond of the experience. As you can see, the tuxedo did not fit John incredibly well. The sleeves of the shirt were way too short, but the pants were way too long. The 9-month-old this manufacturer used as a size model for this tuxedo must have had the shortest arms but longest legs ever.

On the day of the wedding, John did not like his tuxedo any better, but he put on a happy face for his aunt. He and his daddy sure looked handsome that day!
